After an incident on the interstate last Friday left me with this:
I decided I couldn’t just leave it that way. It looks horrible and due to moisture getting in, keeps burning out bulbs. SOOOOOO, I ordered some “upgrades”:
These should throw some light for me. ;)

Do those come with covers?

No.
I wouldn’t use them anyway. I use the lower set as fog lights, the upper set as highbeams (factory lights suck, even with high wattage bulbs).

What size are those?
I’ve heard some good things about the 7” arb looking ones.

They are 4".
We’ll see how they work, they were extremely cheap.
What I gathered from reviews:
They have issues with moisture getting in them, easily remedied by taking them apart and re-sealing them.
Basically, buy them, reseal them, no issues. I figure for the $23 they cost me, if they last a month I got my money’s worth ;)

That’s basically how the ebay lights go, samy as the 18w pods you see everywhere. They are cheap enough that when they fog out it’s not a big deal to get another set.
You could go through 25 sets before you get to BD prices..

Kinda what I figured.
It’s kind of a test run anyway. If I don’t like them, I don’t have much invested and can go back to halogens.
If I do like them, I’ll run them until they die, then get something better.
